First Time Configuration

There are a few steps that must be finished before you let users start accessing Sublime. This walk-through covers these steps.

NOTE: if you have not already done so, please change the default administrator password.

Server Settings

After installing Sublime you will be presented with links to the most common configuration steps such as scheduling backups, setting up email settings, etc. These should be the first things you do.

Defining your Repository Hierarchy

Sublime allows you to define a folder hierarchy for your repositories. Repositories may be stored within folders which allows users to find repositories easily.

After installing Sublime for the first time, you won’t have any folders. To create a folder hierarchy, follow the steps in the Managing Repository Folder Hierarchy guide.

Importing Existing Repositories

Once your folder hierarchy is set up you may want to import existing Subversion repositories. Importing repositories is fairly straight-forward and usually consists of copying the repository folder into the Repositories folder where Sublime was installed.

For more information, see the Importing Existing Repositories section of the Administrator Guide.
